    The above information is very helpful. I am 64 with my first cataract in stage 1 or 2. I strongly believe in a nutritional approach to healing and prevention of disease.     How many mg of lutein and zeaxanthin should be taken each day? I have been taking them for a few years and still have cataracts developing.
